- Next time your friend acts too “smart”, or something like that, follow these steps:
- Give him the hardest expression EVER, square roots, exponents, distributive property, etc. (HINT:

- Put it all in parenthesis with a negative sign outside
- Then put that expression in a square root sign
- Tell your friend to solve the expression
- After your friend solves it with a huge grin on his face tell him that any negative square root is automatically undefined.
