3 Elite Armed Forces and 5 US MIlitary Academies
As you see in my previous post, you can see I share an interest in the agencies. However, I also have a passion for the armed forces and have considered a career in them. Today, I will be explaining to you guys about the 3 elite armed forces, and the 5 military academies.
Elite Forces
Delta Force

Delta Force is an elite division of the army and specializes in assassinations of dangerous terrorists, and raids from the air. Famous for their stealth, delta force is used for counterterrorism and sometimes hostage rescue.
Navy SEALS

Navy SEALS are arguably the most ruthless and elite warriors the world has ever seen. A division of the United States Navy, the SEALS were trained to be able to survive in any environment. SEALS stands for Sea, air, and land. Seals specialize in really anything. They were most famous for the credit of the assassination of Osama bin Laden and the hostage rescue of Captain Phillips from Somalian pirates hold.
Green Berets

Green Berets are a unit of the army. They specialize in the combat of unconventional warfare (or also known as guerilla warfare), relieving threats in foreign grounds, special reconnaissance which is operating behind enemy lines and avoiding detection, direct action, and counter terrorism.

CIA, FBI, NSA and DIA
Hey guys, today I want to share with you some information that I have on interests in agencies in the United States. I'm sure you've heard of some of these agencies, but I wanted to tell you about how it really feels to work there based on research. I am considering a career in agencies like this, knowing that my work probably won't be too similar to James Bond ;).
CIA:

Probably the agency I would prefer to work in, the CIA stands for Central Intelligence Agency. Established in 1947, the CIA has the duty of gathering information from foreign countries. The CIA is not law enforcement and focuses on gathering military intelligence rather than executing raids and such.
The CIA, however, does use spies in their work. For example, in the assassination of the dangerous Osama Bin Laden, CIA agents stationed in Pakistan gave information to the United States military about Bin Laden's hiding. This is part of the CIA special agents, counterterrorism division.
Most of the information the CIA receives is then transferred to the military who will decide what the actions should be.
FBI:

The FBI, divergent to the CIA, deals with domestic issues in the United States. Standing for Federal Bureau of Investigation, the FBI is a law enforcement group in the government and focuses more on raids such as drug busts, and counterterrorism. The FBI does partake in arrests, and both investigates and raids within the country. Established in 1908, the FBI are the elite police, and only really take place in threatening or difficult cases.
DIA:

NSA:

Established in 1952, the NSA stands for the National Security Agency. The job of the NSA is to monitor, process, and sometimes collect foreign intelligence that will ensure the security and safety of the country. The NSA is one of the biggest groups of hired mathematicians, as they deal with the analyzation of foreign data. Another big part of the NSA is ethical hacking. Sometimes the NSA may hack into foreign websites to gather information that will secure the country, and keep us away from danger. If you're into computers, this is your agency.

The DIA is a bit different than the rest of the agencies, as they are a branch of the United States Military. The United States military themselves operates in this group and is in charge of protecting the country by intercepting information and using firepower.

Ralph Lauren Stock Analysis
Hey guys, sorry I haven't updated in a while. This post I'm bringing up here strays a little from comedy, but one of my new interests, stock investments.
I was viewing a couple of stocks, and I came across Ralph Lauren (RL). I soon realized a pattern. Here's my analysis below.
I was viewing a couple of stocks, and I came across Ralph Lauren (RL). I soon realized a pattern. Here's my analysis below.
First off I have the neatest hand writing in the world. If it's hard to read I understand, so I'll do some explaining. Basically using the google finance software, I analyzed the rise and falls of RL. I quickly started to notice that around August and fall the stock drops, making it a good time to buy, and rises to a climax around the end of November making it a good time to sell. I have here that on October 10th should be the date to buy, and November 28 is the date to sell. The stock market is open on both days, however during school so kids be sure to make sure you execute the trades before 4:00, right when you get back from school.
Ralph Lauren Stock Graph by Google and Yahoo Finance |
This is all an analysis from me so don't go huge on it, but according to my calculations, you should be able to make a 5-10 dollar profit. If you go on Google finance (just look up RL stock) you can explore the stock more. You can then see every October 9,10,11,12 the stock is good to buy and every November 27, 28, 29, 30 the stock is good to sell. Notice this is a quick buy sell stock and DEFINITELY not a safe long term investment. Then by averaging the dates I could conclude with an exact date.
I've also done in the little graphic organizer the analyzation of the balance sheet using the Assets - Liability = Equity formula. I found the balance sheet on NASDAQ. Click here to find it. Through that, I made the conclusion that RL is not in too much debt, (or in other words does not have too much liability to pay off) so they're stock reports are most likely true.
Logically I can't exactly explain why the stock goes up and down there, my best guess would be holiday shopping but comment below to let me know what you think.
Remember: Buy October 10th and Sell November 28th (2017)
Happy investing and looking forward to hearing your thoughts in the comments.

You ever wonder how weird it would be if someone actually asked a store member how to use a shopping cart?

Vermont Skiing
Hey guys, over February break I recently went to Vermont to ski. I'm pretty good at skiing now and my limit is black diamonds. I was almost pressured into doing a double black diamond because I went with one of my friends. Here's how I feel like things would have played out if I did do the double black.
So I wonder what Olympic ski slopes are like....

Yeah, forget a parachute on that one he's going to need a jetpack.

The John Funkhouser Trio
Last night I made my way down to the Black Box and it was a really great experience. It was my first time heading down to the studio, and I didn't really know what to expect. Frankly, I wasn't really jumping up and down to go either really, I kind of just went becuase my parents were making me. But when I arrived, things changed.
The band that played at the Black Box was the John Funkhouser Trio. They were extrodinary!!!!!!! It's really a great thing they were the first band I came to see becuase the next day, I went to my parents and said, "We should go to the Black Box again". It was really great to see the trio made up of a pianist, bassist, and a drummer. They played a great variety of music such as electrifying jazz and beileve it or not even Indian Classical! I would highly reccomend you go down to either the Black Box to check out some of their cool shows, or visit the John Funkhouser Trio's website to see where you can catch their next show!
